Account Verification FAQ

Why do I need to verify my account?

Regulatory requirements require us to verify your identity before providing an account. As such, the registration requires a Know Your Customer (KYC) identity process to ensure the person registering is really you and to ensure that our players are of age to gamble. You must complete the verification process before depositing.

What is account verification?

Regulations make it mandatory to verify an individual’s registration details such as name, DOB, SSN and address before they are allowed to deposit or wager. Please ensure that your name is entered exactly as it appears on your driver’s license or passport and that you are using the most current address where you receive mail. Once all the appropriate information is submitted, we work diligently to immediately verify your account. Normal verification time will be between 24 and 48 hours. Requesting additional updates within the 48-hour time period may potentially delay approval time. Please note that it is safe to upload your personal documents. BetMGM’s system sits behind one of the most advanced firewalls in the world, and we work with the most qualified security advisors worldwide to constantly upgrade the systems, protecting your data and ours.
