What are Deposit, Loss and Session Time limits?

Deposit limits specify the maximum amount of money you can deposit into your account in a day, week and/or month, and are applied to your account instantly. Loss limits specify the maximum amount of funds you can lose during a particular time period. Winnings do not count toward this limit. Session time limits let you set a time limit for how long you can play each day. You will be notified at the end of the selected time limit and will not be able to continue playing that day. If you make changes to your daily limit, you will be logged out, and the changes will take effect when you log back in.

Once you specify a value for a limit, the system will warn you whenever you cross your limit. The system checks how much money has already been deposited or lost in the day/week/month depending on your configuration, or how much time has been spent wagering. If the value for Deposit or Loss is more than the remaining "allowed" value for that day/week/month, the transaction will be blocked. If your Session Time Limit is reached, you will not be allowed to initiate any new gaming sessions for that day. BetMGM reserves the right to check and, if necessary, reduce your limits at any time.

What is the definition of a "day", "week" and "month" for limits?

A month is defined as the first day of the month to the last day. A week is defined as Sunday 00:00 hours (midnight) to the following Saturday 23:59 hours (11:59 PM). A day is defined as a calendar day, i.e., your daily limit is applicable from 00:00 hours to 23:59 hours, regardless of when you enable it. If you opt in at 11:00 PM, your first day will be counted as 11:00 to 11:59 PM, and the next day will start at midnight (00:00 hours).

Can I decrease/increase the limits, and how long does it take?

You can change your limits at any time. Just go to the Responsible Gaming Limits section of your Account Settings and edit the value(s). Once established, any decrease to these limits (e.g. $100 to $90, or 8 hours of play to 7 hours of play) will be effective immediately, and you will receive an instant pop-up notification. Any increase to these limits (e.g. $100 to $110, or 8 hours of play to 9 hours of play) will become effective only after the time period of the previous limit has expired, and after an additional confirmation of the request. Increased or removed daily limits have a 72-hour waiting period.

How can I see how long I've been playing today?

Your session login time is shown at the bottom of the window. This can help you judge the time you've spent playing on a given day.

How do I know what amount I can still deposit?

If you are unsure whether you can deposit a certain amount, log into your account and check the Payment History section for a transaction overview. If you attempt to deposit more than your monthly deposit limit, the deposit will be rejected. When requesting a deposit limit, consider which amount you want to spend on gaming per day, week or month. BetMGM reserves the right to check and, if necessary, reduce your limits at any time.
