Are there different rules for races run in other countries?

Yes, different rules can apply when making bets on races run in other countries.

If a race has over 24 horses, the pools for England and the United States will not be combined. If so, the payouts will be different.
No show betting is offered for races run in England. Place bets are paid out based on the number of runners at post time and if the race is a handicap (where horses may carry different weights).
